Cross-country skiing

Main Jizera trail belongs to the most favourite cross-country trails in Czech Republic. It offers more than 170 km of cross-country trails. there are 23 starting points and two of them are in Nové město pod Smrkem (7,5 km) and Smědava (12km). Downhill skiing

The Jizera Mountains boast very well marked paths leading through spruce and beech forests. It is an attractive location for winter sports, cycling and hiking.
